Wireline Applied Stimulation Pulsing (WASP®) technology is wireline-deployed into wellbores to stimulate the reservoir or to break up scale in the wellbore.  WASP® generates a shockwave and pressure pulse (up to 10,000 psi) which causes structural failure and mobilization of brittle material that is plugging channels of flow or fouling completion equipment.  WASP® can remove scales that chemically can’t be treated, such as barium sulfate (BaSO4).

Presented by:

Justin Wolf- Sales Representative

Justin Wolf is a petroleum engineer with more 10 years of oil and gas industry experience and is currently a Technical Sales Representative with Blue Spark Energy

ERD (Electrical Resonating Diaphragm) Pressure/Temperature Gauge

Discussion will be around how PROMORE’s ERDTM pressure/temperature gauge has been adding value to producers when deployed to monitor ESPs in thermal environments. The ERDTM has been used in multiple applications over the last decade to monitor ESPs in thermal applications.  No other downhole pressure/temperature gauge, to date, has been able to handle the high vibrations associated with an ESP on a consistent basis and commonly fail soon after installation.  The ERD, on the other hand, has been installed on 240 ESPs for pressure and temperature monitoring to date with only 7 failures (97% reliability).

Presented by:

Kyle Lagran- P.Eng
